We are seeking an experienced media buyer to plan, buy, and manage strategy and execution of media campaigns across multiple channels, with an emphasis in broadcast TV, Radio, Cable and Digital.  This position will be based in our New York office.

The ideal candidate for this position will:

  • Have 3+ years minimum experience with media planning and buying (agency side)
  • Be savvy and knowledgeable of social and new media technologies
  • Be organized, self-directed and efficient
  • Thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment while wearing many hats and probably juggling 3 items that are currently in flames
  • Be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks across multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present
  • Be self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership in areas of responsibility
  • Have experience in buying for multiple industries.
  • Be well versed in required media skills such as ability to review market research reports, audits, readership studies, online reports, etc.
  • Proficient in media buying software (STRATA), other media tools and Microsoft products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

This position will be responsible for the following:

  • Management of media buy process including but not limited to developing buy parameters, creating RFPs, negotiation, presentation, approval, reconciliation and invoicing of media campaigns
  • Creating buys in STRATA Buying Software
  • Management of multiple ongoing campaigns including TV, Radio, Print and Out of Home as well as digital and emerging media
  • Working with clients, brand managers, account service, and creative teams to establish media goals, objectives, and strategies for advertising campaign
  • Performing campaign analysis directly relevant to optimization and/or planning and buying decisions

We are looking for a PR specialist whose passions and experience are firmly rooted in tech and finance. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment, but is also a self-starter and can work on projects independently.

The ideal candidate for this position will:

  • Have two-three years of tech/finance/B2B PR experience – agency or in-house and a Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications or another relevant liberal arts degree.
  • Excel at verbal and written communications (both creative and AP style) with experience ghost writing bylines, whitepapers and industry-specific materials.
  • Have media relations experience, as well as a history of delivering results.
  • Are willing to help at all levels of tasks and bring a can-do attitude to the position. This candidate will be expected to both lead the accounts, as well as accomplish the day to day tasks (writing, researching, pitching, reporting, etc.)
  • Possesses a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

This position will be responsible for the following:

  • Developing fresh new PR campaigns in the tech, finance and B2B space that revolve around executive thought leadership.
  • Reguarly write press releases for clients in various industries and develop additional materials such as FAQs and key messaging.
  • Communication with clients to help identify internal goals and the communication strategies to accomplish them in a creative and affective manner.
  • Establishing and delivering analytics reports based on mutually agreed upon metrics, proving our agency’s worth to executive leadership on a regular basis.
  • Being prepared to speak on client calls with with ease, confidence and positivity.
  • Development of outreach materials such as media lists and pitches.
  • Identifying and capitalizing on editorial opportunities – we’re looking for a curious news junky that is hungry for the next piece of coverage.
  • Maintain editorial, award and coverage trackers as well status documents for various clients.
  • Assisting in coaching Account Coordinators through projects and deliverables, sharing positive and constructive feedback.
  • Completing projects on time and within budget.
  • Collaborating with other departments – essential at our integrated agency.
