For the Pittock Mansion’s centennial, we created an identity and brand campaign specific to the 100th year but the legs to guide future communications. We helped them understand their place in Portland’s tourism landscape and how to expand their visitor and giving base. The initiative was supported by an innovative interactive press kit where press can click to immediately download assets presented in a compelling and informative format.
While many historic house museums around the country are experiencing declining visitation, Pittock Mansion’s annual visitation has steadily grown from 70,000 visitors in fiscal year 2012/2013, to 81,000 in fiscal year 2013/2104, to a new record of 100,000 visitors by mid 2015. We like to think we had a hand in that.
