Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Research the competition and consumer trends in behavior, attitude and perception of the brand and category

You are an experienced analyst with a track record of extracting insights and actionable information from data. You develop reports and dashboards for clients, summarize findings for executive stakeholders, and share detailed technical findings to non-technical audiences. You work with integrated teams of specialists and clients from a variety of industries, who come to you with half-formed problems to refine their needs into answerable questions and determine how best to answer those questions.

We are a full-service integrated marketing agency, looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our team. This is a position with great growth potential and autonomy to help us shape our approach to analytics and data.

In this role, you will work hand in hand with our paid media and social strategy teams and will handle a large volume of custom requests related to client advertising campaigns. You will be working across different industries including financial services, automotive, beverage, CPG and lifestyle products. The campaign objectives range from high level brand building to direct e-commerce and lead generation.

Essential duties and responsibilities

    • Gauging the success of marketing campaigns and reporting on marketing activity, developing reports and dashboards for key stakeholders
    • Design and execute primary and secondary research to uncover audience behavior and attitudes and market trends
    • Combine audience analytics, seasonality insights, industry trends, and client feedback to configure, operate and develop effective account strategy to drive campaign performance
    • Leverage data to identify areas of growth through top-of-funnel expansion, mid-funnel acquisition and conversion, optimal channel spend and optimal touchpoint strategy for members and future members
    • Analyze organic social performance monthly or quarterly (client dependent) using Locowise or similar tool. Provide relevant data points and insight-driven recommendations to improve channel performance.
    • Run advanced social listening inquiries to inform social strategy on Sprout (or similar)
    • Utilize paid media tools such as Tap Analytics, Facebook Ad Manager and Google Ad Serving products to monitor and analyze paid media campaigns
    • Ability to help clients and internal stakeholders identify appropriate KPIs based on campaign goals up front
    • Help to shape a larger narrative around the data from our campaigns and present findings both in person and in presentation format
    • Be involved in building and growing client relationships through a solid work product and understanding of our clients’ business.
    • Identify future audiences for marketing opportunities based on both internal data sets, as well as existing market data

Requirements for the position include:

  • 5+ years account experience in a creative advertising agency, Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Beverage / Wine account experience preferred
  • Proven track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations
  • Clear ability to analyze brand landscapes, consumers and trends, and derive innovative approaches and plans
  • Contribute to the development of a Client’s short- and long-term strategic plans
  • Proven ability to lead creative and project teams to bring creative ideas to execution, and deliver concepts to consumers
